    The year of 2023 will be remembered as a year pop experimented in new styles. Sure, we got the return of our favorite pop artists like Olivia Rodrigo and two more Taylor Swift re-records, but we saw a rise and return in popularity of pop subgenres, including house (Troye Sivan), art (Caroline Polachek), rock (boygenius), disco (Jessie Ware), and folk (Noah Kahan). What will be the new pop sound as we head into the mid 2020's? Below I will list my favorite albums, songs, and music videos I listened to in 2023, as well as some classic albums I listened to for the first time. So without further ado:

  Trevor's 100 Favorite Animated Films      Animation is my favorite film technique. I have always been drawn (hehe) to the medium. Perhaps it’s because it is the most impressive form of filmmaking since practically everything has to be made from scratch.
